If you want to dive, you should not only bring your equipment, but also pay attention to many things

It's believed that it's the choice of most people to go to the seaside wearing sexy swimsuits in summer. They can not only enjoy the sea breeze, but also enjoy the touch of the sea water. They can also have a beautiful sunbath. However, divers may also be interested in rushing to the underground sea to enjoy another beautiful scenery. However, for diving, is it really just to bring equipment? In this issue, we specially invited senior diving player CAT to share her diving experience, "rookie level" you or "half bucket of water" friends. If you don't study hard, you will really "walk away".

Experience 1: Diving can be divided into many types. If you want to dive, you need to be careful

Diving is divided into snorkeling, leisure scuba diving (commonly known as deep diving), technical diving, free diving and other different ways of diving. Among them, snorkeling is the simplest. You only need to wear a life jacket, a mask, a breathing tube and flippers to lie on the sea and watch the creatures. There is no need for class, even if you can't swim, you can do it under the guidance of relevant people, but you must go together and choose a reliable institution. This seemingly simplest diving sport has the highest mortality rate. People often drown in panic (choking, panicking, forgetting to lift their heads and breathe).

Leisure scuba diving is actually what we call deep diving. After 3-4 days of theoretical and practical learning, you can wear key equipment (breathing regulator, buoyancy regulating vest, mirror, flipper, diving suit, counterweight, etc.) with oxygen cylinder on your back, and deep diving is under the guidance of diving guide. The premise of learning deep diving is that you must be able to swim and pass the relevant examinations of recreational scuba diving institutions. Deep diving can be upgraded with continuous practice and learning assessment, and then carry out night diving, releasing, deep diving (18m-55m) and other diving activities.

Technical diving is a professional version of leisure scuba diving, which requires a series of strict learning and training. Technical diving is a high-risk sport, such as cave diving, diving in the cabin of a sunken ship and so on, which has a very high risk. On the basis of leisure scuba diving, the learning of Technical Diving requires rigorous scientific spirit and good team cooperation ability, which is very high for learners.

Free diving is known as the second highest risk sport in the world. Due to the super high requirements of physical strength and willpower, there are not many people in the world who can do free diving now.

Experience 2

Don't be nervous when you start diving, don't be under no illusion

At the beginning of diving, people will be more nervous. In the water, they can't control their posture properly. It seems that how to make efforts is like a tumbler in the shaking, but it doesn't matter. After slowly getting familiar with and relaxing, they will be OK.

Don't be too confident when diving, blindly challenge the "limit", which will bring unnecessary trouble to the team. In addition, we should also pay attention to the protection of marine resources, in addition to bubbles, not to leave anything behind, not to touch any seabed creatures at will. Apart from the fact that some sea creatures are extremely poisonous, the most important thing is to respect each other. Think about it. If you are good at shopping on the road, suddenly a guy reaches out to poke you, you will be very unhappy.

Experience 3

Different sea areas have different sceneries, choosing the potential point is the key

Take Southeast Asian countries for example. Bali in Indonesia is a very beautiful landscape with low water temperature, large water flow and rich coral colors. Anilo in the Philippines is a volcanic terrain, with black sand beaches and rich geology, which breeds a variety of unique and gorgeous micro creatures. The projectile reef is in the open sea, well protected, and groups of hammerhead sharks, devil fish and other giant creatures can be seen.

In fact, the first thing to consider is your own budget. Secondly, it's important to make clear your goal. It's important to choose the appropriate place according to your hobbies. Otherwise, if you are a foodie who likes high-quality enjoyment, you have rashly chosen a potential point of original ecology. Even though biology is rich and a paradise for photographers, it's hard for you to enjoy eating bread in a thatched hut every day. Then we need to determine the right season for each dive. The best season for each dive is different. Only when we have a clear understanding can we avoid the weather affecting our diving plan.

Experience 4

Be alert, safety is the first

The first thing to consider in diving is whether your body condition is suitable for this diving activity. Do not take medicine or drink to dive to avoid danger. Some people like to challenge and want to dive freely after completing the deep dive. At this time, we need to pay attention to that. People who have just completed the deep dive must wait 12 hours before they can dive freely.

In addition, once there is any spasm or coma after diving, you must stop the diving activity and return to the surface or ask for help.

Player tactics

Cat (in charge of film and television production)

"Diving makes me know many optimistic and cheerful friends, and also makes me more directly shocked to understand the severity of human damage to the environment. It also makes me reexamine my life and cherish every resource around me."

New express: how much time and money does it take to get a diving license?

Cat: take the introduction of ow (open water diver) as an example. You need 1-2 days of theoretical learning, watching teaching videos, reading books, answering questions, etc., and 2-3 days of practical learning. The cost also varies from 2000 yuan to 6000 yuan. If you have enough holidays, you can go to the seaside of Southeast Asia to find a qualified potential store for systematic learning. If you don't have enough time, you can find a potential store in the local city. Use 2-3 weekends to complete theory and part of practice courses, and then go to the seaside to complete the rest of the course. Here I would like to remind you that when you choose a potential store or coach, you should pay attention to whether they have the coaching qualification certified by the relevant institutions.

New express: how many meters can a person with a diving license be allowed to dive?

Cat: Diving licenses are classified into different levels. The allowable diving depth of different levels of diving licenses is different. At present, there are several diving institutions in the world that provide coaching and certification services, such as PADI, NAUI, CMAS, BSAC, etc. each institution has its own classification system and corresponding name. Taking PADI as an example, the entry level of scuba diving is referred to as ow (open water diver), which can dive to 18 meters. Next, AOW (Advanced Open Water Diver) can dive to 30 meters and can carry out night diving, releasing, ship diving and other diving activities. With the improvement of the level, we will learn more skills and experience more fun. The primary certificates of different institutions are mutually recognized, and the content of learning is not very different.

New express: what interesting or dangerous things have you encountered in diving?

Cat: not long after learning how to dive, I tried deep diving in sibadan, Malaysia. There, I met a strong current, and was washed away from the large team. After being lifted up, I was floating on the water for half an hour before being rescued by passing boats. Now it's still quite breathtaking. Of course, there are also interesting things. Occasionally, there are big fish or turtles that are not afraid of people in the water. They will curiously lean closer to see what this big thing with bubbles is. This is also the happiest time I feel in diving.
